The
Churchill Wrestling Club (known in its first year as the Lancer Wrestling Club)
was conceived in October of 1999. Our membership includes grades K-12. Club membership
has grown from 30 in our first year to our 2009/2010 membership of 80 in grades
K-8 as well as a number of Churchill High School wrestlers.
Current
coaches include Scott Kearney, Jeff Earp-Thomas, Randy Robinson, Joel Bauer, and Jeremy Cohen. CWC is operated
by a board of directors. Board members are: Coach- Jeff Earp-Thomas, Scott, Trisia Brunson President, Mark Tollen VP, Mantie Jaramillo
Treasurer, Cathy Hyslop Secretary.
We
believe that amateur wrestling provides many of the tools that are necessary to
develop kids into positive and successful individuals, both on the mat and in
life.
